Today's my birthday :) it's around 11 PM here in Amman!! - I feel like a radio broadcast ;p
For some reason, this birthday feels weird... I'm not sure how I feel about the idea of turning 22! Twenty Two!! Sounds big doesn't it??
I'm in my fourth year studying Electrical Engineering, and by this time next year I will have graduated... so come to think of it, this birthday is a sort of starting point... in two days a new semester starts, I will start working on the graduation project (which we do over two semesters), I will be doing an internship this summer, and the coming year will be my last at university!!! All the more reasons for this birthday to feel like something special... but the truth is; as much as I'm excited, my mind is a turmoil!! What next?? Do I wanna make a career shift before I even start?? Do I wanna find a job in engineering?? Would I be able to start my own project or business?? How can I make the most of this university year? Isn't it about time I set a goal for my life and set out to make it happen?
I think being in the early twenties is the most exciting age, yet the most scary and confusing... because we're at a point where every decision counts... where one choice or one opportunity can change our path or open a new door for our future!!
I guess it's ok to be 22 and not be quite sure what I wanna do with my life, right?? Should I get a technical job for a couple of years and then go get an MBA? Should I do a Masters in Engineering so I can find my edge in science and technology? Should I get a second BA but this time in modern languages?? Should I do my Masters in media and production and pursue my lifelong passion for this field??

It's my birthday... I'm gonna log off in a couple of minutes and go write down my new year resolutions and contemplations! And tomorrow, I'm gonna go out with my friends... I know they wanna try to do it as a surprise, but I heard what Hussam said to Lara over the phone, that they will tell me we're going out at 4:30, and then Serina would tell me she wants to invite me to lunch... and they'd all be there, at Chili House!!! I don't wanna go to Chili! I would've told Serina let's go someplace different (with more healthy varieties cuz I don't eat fast food - Yes I'm a health freak ;p ) but anyways, I'll act surprised, and I know I will have a great time... Next year I will have a graduation party along with my birthday, and I'll let you know what I'm up to then!

If you've actually reached this far reading this... well, thanks I guess :) I mean it's good to know that I'm not just talking to myself!!
This is the first time I write a blog, but I'm the type of person who keeps journals and loves writing (I talk a lot)... so I'm thinking I might actually like this - blogging :)
